Islamic Development & Empowerment in America (IDEA) is seeking medical professionals to join our Medical Mission to Morocco! Taking place from December 15 to December 19, 2026. This mission will deliver essential healthcare services to refugees and underserved communities in need of critical support.
Mission: Cardiovascular Surgeries & Capacity Building

Medical Credential Verification
As part of the medical mission screening and compliance process, all applicants are required to submit the following documents via email to Anfel Bouzid (abouzid@development.org) after registering:
- Resume or CV
- Active U.S. medical license
- Copy of passport
- Professional headshot photo
- Medical degree or certification
Applications will not be considered complete until all required documents are received and verified.
Costs & Logistics
- Volunteers are responsible for international flight costs
- In-country expenses (accommodation, meals, transportation) will be covered by IDEA
- Additional details will be shared upon acceptance
Please note: Some participants may arrive or depart on different dates, but everyone should still sign up for the full deployment window to ensure proper coordination, placement, and communication throughout the mission.
